1 Corinthians 1:18-19 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
What marvelous words!
God’s way is not man’s way. God’s thinking is not mortal man’s thinking. And God offers something that the world can never offer. By coming to God through salvation of the cross, our eyes are opened to a new revelation! We begin to see the the true power of God over all things! This world offers nothing that can save your soul. We need a savior to bring us to glory. His name is Jesus! Many people wait too long and will indeed perish.
